As a new month approaches I like to look back on the last few weeks and take account of some of my favourite moments. For me April was a jewel of a month. Spring felt like it had finally arrived and my two little boys and I have already had many a morning picnic by the polytunnels. Here are some notes from my nature journal on my most treasured parts of April;
Dandelions like polka dots on the lawn.
The first tulips
Making primrose flower essence
Longer, sun filled days
The pink sunset on the mountain
Shedding the layers and heavy coats
Handing in my manuscript
Putting the goats out to pasture
Birdsong in the dew soaked, early morning
Getting the first suntan of the year
