Garden Show Ireland-Primula Theatres and Tiny Gardens

Each year we head down to Garden Show Ireland with our farm street food van ready to feed the crowds over the days the show runs. This year I had high hopes to vlog the event but ended up with lots of pictures instead…Here’s some of my favourite things from this years Garden Show;

Primula Theatre: I had come across the idea of a primula theatre in Willow Crossley’s book Inspire and thought the idea so pretty. Seeing one in the flesh was even better! Each pot contained a tiny primula in a bright lollipop shade. Really gorgeous!primula-theatre-garden-show-ireland

Tiny Gardens: I love small spaces. From apartments to gardens I really enjoy the challenge of styling spaces to work around limited space. This little show garden by Sow Grow Munch author Jilly Dougan appealed to me for that very reason. It contained loads of garden ideas for urbanites and small space gardeners. From Wine Boxes, tea cups, ladders, bread bins, watering cans…greenery was bursting forth from it all. And it was all edible too. Apart from the highlights above there were also loads of stalls selling plants, plugs and seeds! It was also lovely to have a walk around the Antrim Castle grounds where the show was held.
