About
A Journey to a Connected Life
Hello and welcome. My name is Becky Cole. I have the privilege to work and live on 50 acres of wild, regenerative land nestled close to the sea in Northern Ireland. I work as a landscape artist having studied at the renowned NCAD and TCD my work can be perused over at my portfolio site here and my nature based podcast can be found in my menu links. An important part of my work is that I am a trained folk herbalist having studied under some incredible mentors such as Juliet Blankespoor, Marysia Miernowska, Jade Shutes amongst others, I am also a Permaculture Designer having got my certificate from Applewood Permaculture in 2022 and I have a particular interest in using permaculture to enrich our own personal lives. Nature connection, rewilding and plant communication is a large part of my daily practice and how I approach the environmental crisis. I love getting out into nature, foraging and finding wild food and hedgerow remedies and healing the land through our regenerative farming practices. I love sharing ways to find beauty and slowness in the everyday through my podcast, YouTube and workshops here on my Rooted Membership which I host on Patreon. I also have a weakness for artisan dark chocolate, books and floral dresses! I hope you’ll stick around and sign up to my newsletter to keep in touch. If you’re interested in learning more about my membership you can click the link below. Thank you for being here x
