With the nights being so balmy and enjoyable what better time could it be to do some moon-gazing? Most human beings have never been so detached from nature and its rhythms and in particular with the night sky. When night falls we draw the curtains and log into our devices and are removed from our own world. Or we live in an environment which has light pollution that weakens our ability to even see the constellations. Either way, there’s really no reason not to claim back our connection we once all had with the moon and stars. To moon gaze Find out when the next full moon is, gather together friends if you’d like, and find a safe location to spend a little time gazing up at the beautiful silver orb that is the moon. This can be very relaxing to the nervous system, it can cool down a hot sun scorched body and help us deepen our relationship with the seasons and ebb and flow of nature.
